This is the first photo I adjusted. I primarily used the bubble tool and pinch tool. As a result I was able to reform the pumpkin into a shape resembling a heart. I was surprised how clean the tool was. Pixelmator touts their "non-destructive" editing of images. I have to say that the undo button was my friend. It remembered my every step and it is easy to backtrack. Make corrections. And finish happy. Exporting to a folder or social network is also very easy.
What I learned by working with this last image was the power of LAYERS. The non-destructive editing was very helpful. The final product shown is the result of about 9 layers. I can easily delete the top 8 layers and the origonal image would be perfectly preserved underneath.
