Living in a bowling city means you bowl. But what equipment do I use? How do you bowl cheaply?
At a yardsale Ashley and I found two brand new SF 49ers set of bowling balls. My ball is 15 pounds and pictured below. I not so secretly wish it was a SF Giants ball. But this Bay Area team will have to do. It's not like there was a large selection of new old stock bowling balls at the yard sales that day.
Then I started shopping for bowling shoes. Keeping with the inexpensive bowling gear theme I bought my Dexter's at the Grand Serria Resort Bowling Pro Shop that was having a going out of business sale. Their inventory was about 50% off and I was now the proud owner of a great Bowling Ball and a slick pair of Bowling Shoes. I thought I was ready to go pro! Only to realize that I had all the gear I need to bowl but I lacked the bowling bag that was going to carry my precious cargo.
I was looking for an inexpensive bowling bag that offered all the features of a top brand name bag.
Thats when I found the BSI Delux Single Ball Tote Bag.
I bought mine in Red so it matches the 49ers ball. One of my big concerns was would the bag comfortably hold my size 13 shoes. Thankfully, yes! I think the bag can hold up to a size 15. The side pockets have deciders. There are two zippers on the top for easy ball access. Also includes a foam ball pad on the bottom.
I now own a bowling set up valued at over $200 that I spent under $100 to put together.
